New Range Rover goes all-electric in 2024
Land Rover's first electric car edges closer to launch; promises to embody "true Range Rover values"
Range Rover Electric is expected to be unique and capable. A fully electric Range Rover is coming in 2024.
Well, it might actually debut in 2023, as Land Rover only says the EV will "join the lineup" in 2024, meaning that's when it will go on sale.
Expect at least one electric motor at each axle, with a range of around 300 miles and a power output of at least 600 horsepower.
The 2024 Range Rover EV will use a new all-electric powertrain and an all-new chassis. The electric car will be based on a long-wheelbase model that can accommodate three rows of seats, just like the petrol Range that is on sale today. The new multi-link suspension reduces the space required for wheel articulation, providing additional space for the EV battery and rear wheel steering system.
