I was raised in a (sane) christian family, and despite being pagan now, I still run church related errands once in a blue moon since we have a very busy family.
I distincly remember one of those errands, where a big line formed so everyone had to wait for a bit. I had a rainbow linen bag with me- it's one of my favorite bags and I didn’t even realise the pattern it had when I was packing.
At some point, the lady behind me in the line started berating me for having a rainbow bag and bringing it to the "temple of God". I felt very uncomfortable and politely told her to mind her buisness, but she kept yelling at me, to the point where I almost started crying (I was 15 and unstable). Thankfully my turn came, so I could get out of there quickly after that. Some of these people are insane.

As a christian, these people are the kind of people Jesus warned us about. Genuinely.

a lot of these Christians seem to be forgetting Matthew 6: 1-8 (you know, the verses right before the Lord's Prayer), which tells Christians to refrain from praying publicly like "hypocrites" and to pray in private
