No Spare Tire? Making one fit & building storage around it.

My Infiniti Q50S Hybrid came with no spare tires and crappy run flats. Not wanting to get stranded out in the mountain road trips or ride on what feels like bricks, I've been looking for a solution.

After finding a photo of someone with a G37S spare (to clear the Akebono brakes) and foam inserts around the tire to offset the height difference, I decided to make some out of wood to not waste all that space underneath, especially since the Hybrid's trunk is tiny already.

Couple years later it still works great, but needed a refresh so the video is of the current fancy/pinkies out set up :) The blue Infiniti logo matches the blue S on the badge (forgot to put that in the video).

I got my Ford Escape used a few years ago, so I got a full size spare. Mine hangs under the rear, like a truck, which I like!

My q60 tire got missedup And blowedup and there was no stupid spare tire!!! Both q60 don’t have spare tire what the hack
