Aggreko, the world leader in temporary power solutions was relatively unknown in the South African market and tasked Boomtown with delivering a campaign that would trigger brand recall and most importantly, generate a 20% increase in new sales leads from South Africa’s top 500 mining and manufacturing companies.
Boomtown conceptualized the simple, yet effective message: ‘Always On’ which was developed into an integrated campaign to build brand awareness using print, online and ambient media. At the heart of the campaign, was a unique and innovative direct marketing piece to speak directly to key decision makers and generate leads.
RESULT: 57%sales leads generated from a target of 20%.

The direct marketing piece was hailed at South Africa’s premier Direct Marketing awards- the Assegai’s, with Boomtown taking home three awards including the top Assegai, the Inkosi Award. The box also received a Loerie short list and a Cannes Lion Finalist Award.
