Awesome song. Lived this when the song was released. I'd broke up with my GF (March 1999). I can remember this song playing at Christmas of 99 on the radio and thinking these thoughts. Talking to her years later, she was feeling the same thing. We shoukd have clearly tried to reconnect but young love is scary sometimes, sometimes just plain stupid and we were in the stupid phase. We never patched our differences up and honestly, neither of us was mature enough to handle the situation and definitely wouldn't have been mature enough to get back together after we went our separate ways. She's gone on to glory since then (10/2021). Rest on TD. Still love you.
