Jonathan, about the Skippy Gun: "I kind of like it."

Skippy has his charm, but is also infuriating. By design.

Honestly, it seems if they'd give him some more prep materials, such as capabilities and specs as they work in the game, he might be able to do even better. He seems to not get the Cyberpunk's Tech and Smart weapons

I wonder if Johnathon ever gets to shoot any of the cool firearms they have, cause he’s got to be a gun guy, so he’s gotta really want to take some of them to the range.

12:33 there are 2 bullpup pistols that I know of, they’re both Boberg pistols in 9mm or .45

Hunt: Showdown has added a lot of new weapons and tools/explosives. It would be cool to see another video done on that.

I’d love to see him react to gears of war guns, he’s referenced them in multiple videos now so I’d love to see his full blown thoughts on them!

I've heard worries about electronics being involved in guns that they might glitch out, but I think a stronger incentive against them being introduced right now is that gun companies and the gun lobby don't want to have to deal with the concept of guns that are electrically locked and prevented from firing (and some US states have laws on the books that would outlaw non-electrically lockable guns once the technology becomes viable).

But it'd actually be extremely thematic for technology in a cyberpunk setting to be glitchy and poorly designed.

his description of the DA8 as having " the air of a girder" fills me with so much pure joy. Cyberpunk's relationship with hyper-industrialism shows through the artstyle CONSTANTLY, love to see it noticed. Cheers, Ferguson.

EDIT : Seeing you consider the mid design choices of the Guillotine from the perspective of the in-universe company, again, makes me incredibly happy. The attention to detail is excellent.

As a side note with Johnny's pistol in particular. It isn't actually an attachment for the "flamethrower" effect. The flames are actually caused by the cartridges themselves according to in-game lore.

Nice to see Jonathan figure out Budget Arms entire business strategy from a couple of minutes looking at one gun :)

just wanted to add that the HJSH-18 Masamune looks very similar to the FAMAS G2, and also that there are some bullpup pistols, it is very rare to see one but the bashmaster arm pistol is a bullpup pistol that accepts intermediate rifle cartridges (5.56x45mm)

I like how a lot of these videos the guns from alot of the games in the beginng of these videos are usually the games that are in the next video

Just thought it might be worth mentioning that in the Cyberpunk tabletop game (not sure how well it transfers to the videogame), most firearms take caseless, electronically-fired ammunition as a standard. That isn't to say that conventional ammunition has gone out of style, just that if you were to buy a brand-new firearm off of the shelf at a standard retailer, it would most likely be electronically firing and take caseless ammunition. That said, most players in Cyberpunk aren't going for mall-grade weapons, and instead want to splurge on either black market military grade or artisan firearms, like something from Malorian arms.

I hope that someone also showed Jonathan one of the crystal-dome equipped cars after this.

Would be fun to see Perfect Dark weapons, the spiritual sequel to Goldeneye on N64. PD had some wacky guns, like the cyclone, k7 avenger, laptop gun, devastator, dragon/superdragon, RCP120, and even stranger alien weapons.

I'd say it's way more similar to an FK Brno hunting handgun than to an H9

I don't know if you have covered it in any of your other videos, but I would love to see you cover the P90. It is such a cool, unique, and iconic gun.

Suggestion: do a video on Bioshock. I would love to see Johnathon’s reaction to the 24 round revolver and the semi-automatic pump shotgun.
