The 777 is awesome and for it to be fully utilized in this truck it needs more metal bracing and maybe even metal knuckles.

I'm using the Reefs servo out of Gen 8 Axe in my TRX 6.

(The cable that comes with that Redcat Reeds servo is very short so you won't be able to use the smaller wiring cover)

Works surprisingly well even at 6v and I don't forsee myself upgrading it anytime soon.

I recently bought a trx4 sport.Very great rig out of the box. But like everyone I have Been upgrading it.
Mods so far--Cut tires, raised the body/sliders, cut the sliders, flipped the bumper brackets, made my own aluminum bumpers.
1080 esc and new servo is on the way!! I think i am getting the 2 speed conversion and higher gears as well.Oh and different radio/transmitter.
This hobby is ADDICTING!!

Monster servo! I was Gona ask how you were Gona mount that servo since the holes don’t line up... and I also had another question, I have a trx4 sport unassembled kit, and when I was complete with the build i started noticing a click and it has been getting nastier and nastier, I’ve taken my trans apart 4 times and everything is perfect, no metal shavings or missing teeth in gears, ripped open front and rear axles and perfect, put everything back together and the click was back🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

You can still run lights with a 1080. Just make or buy an adapter to go from servo connector to jst then plug it into the programming port of the esc. Works great on my Bronco and TRX6. That servo should just be wired to the battery, but of course you'll do that when switching esc's...

So I’ve been running the 777 in my trx6 and it has worn down the stock plastic panhard mounts in a few hours. Turned them into loose noodles despite being tightly fastened.

Replaced with metal shock tower and axle mount and now it’s amazing.

Wonder how this would do in a xmaxx 🤔 versus the savox 2290

Move boulders... Lol. That thing will too. It's twice as much money, but maybe a triple 7 vs the Futaba HPS-A700? They claim over a thousand ounces. Thanks for the video!

Doesnt make a difference if you dont beef up the top panhard link base, That thing flexes with anything above 400oz....
The "designed" servo saver if you will.

I have never really liked the six, I prefer the 4x4 trucks, but you put through it passes & it came out reasonably well, 😀

The flex was so bad I thought the 777 was stalling way too easily.

I'll have a 777 in my life before it's over with and that Trx...Beast in my opinion still hate the body though👍🏾 that opt3 chassis is nice I stretched it a tad and with the multiple link, shock mounts got those lower links parallel to the ground. Yeah I like it quite a bit💯 oh yeah and the lcg is a plus.
