Bog Islands at a High Level... Fun or Nah?

There's been some complaints about Bog Islands being in the map pool, but maybe it can be fun sometimes?

I remember the first games you casted when Rise of the Rajas DLC dropped-the new water terrain and Bog Island map made a big splash. Can't believe I've been watching you for almost a decade.

I know that Bog Islands is a water map, but wouldn't have hated either player sending some scouts to be extra annoying to eco (particularly teal once they had mostly won water)

Why did yellow have so much TC idle time? He couldn't afford vills after going up so fast, or purposefully to go full all in?

Killing 10 vills just isn't all that impactful if you have over 5 minutes of idle tc..

Honestly drives me nuts that pros rarely use mixed water comps. It's almost always beneficial to mix in fires until they get two-shot.

Seems like its just designed to be a map where ships and land units can interact in most spots.

was anyone else surprised by yellows tc idle time. he was up in eco and then all of a sudden it was tight. I know he tried ti catch up in military numbers. but still...

You can lose the game from one bad demo, so I don't consider the map competitive because there is almost no variety in gameplay either. Even from the Dark Age there is a heavy restriction in viable openings.

They should just call the map Noland because all that hybrid terrain might as well not count. Anything on it is ship fodder. Ban every time.

honestly all i want in the permanent map pool is arabia but with water around (kinda like actual arabia irl)
