Obsidian, if you're reading this: the game looks fantastic, but please implement ragdoll for enemy corpses or try to add more dynamic death animations to make killing enemies more rewarding.

Hmm. Looks good, but it doesn't seem to have impact from hitting or spell casting. I sincerely hope they improve and spice up the combat.

Was the game's world described to me, or were Obsidian describing their game design choices to me?
Everything about this reveal feels so damn off...

Sword play needs improvement looks like the strikes if it was a cardboard tube.

I've watched this about a dozen times already, looking forward to stepping back intro Eora and learning more about the game!

Wait wait? Did obsidian just showed " Give dogtags or fight the dude" As their promo quest? Not white glove kind of quest, not even a goodsprings showdown?

I REALLY hope they didn't leave out Cipher abilities. :(

The game has evolved a lot in the graphic part is very beautiful, but the gameplay I found very slow, stuck, no impact, and the enemies attack in a way that is not challenging or strategic needs to improve

Guys, your combat gameplay needs a lot of polish, look at the games like darktide smooth it up a notch. Looks clunky to me. All of my best wishes may be with you, and good luck on this colossal endeavor.

The game looks great, but am I the only one who feels that the combat looks stiff ?

Combat looks like it needs more time in the oven...

I wish Xbox would start giving them the budget to make games with better graphics. This studio makes nothing but gems. They deserve a bigger budget.

I was really hoping we would get to see a deeper dive into character creation, customization, attributes, skills, etc. Some of the deeper and richer roleplaying mechanics that you are known for. I am sure they are there, but I was hoping to at least get a glimpse of them.

I am hoping as well that spears are wieldable in the game. We saw some of the enemies using them, but that does not mean we get to. War really hoping one of the loadouts would show them. Far too often spears are forgotten in fantasy games. Especially action rpgs/first person rpgs. Polearms are my favorite kind of weapon so I am hoping we get to wield them in the game.

I really hope avowed and outer worlds become long term franchises and this isn’t just a one and done type of game

You guys did new vegas in 18 months. We believe you will deliver us a good RPG with well written dialogs, Obsidian. Also combat needs work, I think.

I really hope this ends up being great. There is no doubt Obsidian will do the quests and story justice. Combat has me a little bit worried. Hopefully, it's not too fast-paced and allows time for tactical decisions. In the meantime, footage from POE 2 reminded me how great those games are. Have to go and finish it before this comes out.

PoE 1 and 2 are some of my favourite games of all time. Ever since New Vagas I have been hoping Obsidian would make a fantasy first-person rpg and the speed at which they have been able to put this game together is nothing short of amazing. We've been waiting well over a decade for the next Elder Scrolls game. Meanwhile in just a few short years we have an rpg in one of, if not the best, fantasy settings from this generation.

The game looks really good, but more blood splatter and some shaking (or other visual effects) when striking in melee would go a long way toward making combat feel less weightless without relying on animations.
