excellent tutorial . i had tried objective c but gave up on it but started learning swift from the day it was released and i hope you continue making tutorials for us folks who don't know how to interact with apk written in objective c.

Hello :) thank you so much for your time taken to teach us Swift. I would disagree that Swift *replaces* Objective-C, however - that would be like saying that microwave meals "replace" cooking. Obj-C is still VERY much used, it's just that Swift is an easier entry point to iOS programming, in my humble opinion :)
