Alot of people do half reps. Doing 12-15 push ups with great form and full range of motion is everything!

Fellas don’t judge yourself on these numbers but push yourself to do more. I started pushups at the age of 11 and could barely do 5-10. Almost 3 decades later I can do a set of 100 pushups. I’m nowhere near elite right now but I’ve consistently done pushups throughout my life. 💪💪

I remember deciding to stop using weights and only use bodyweight exercises for a year. When I put the weights down, my max bench was 275 pounds, my chest was 42 inches, arms were 15, I could rep out anywhere from 30 to 40 pushups straight, and I had good cardio at 6'2" and 190 pounds. After a year of just pushups, pull-ups and chin-ups, I hit the weights to see where I was. My bench went up to 385 pounds, my chest hit 49 inches, my arms grew to 18 inches, got up to being able to rep out over 200 pushups straight, and my cardio was better. With that said, pushups aren't just a warm up exercise. You can get strength and gains from them. Prisoners and military are the best proof.

In my over a decade long life, I have yet to encounter a door that requires the same strength needed to do 15-25 pushups to push open.

I can almost do a one arm pushup, but only cab rep out about 20 perfect pushups. These numbers are not entirely wrong, but I bet these numbers are based on quick small pushups instead of slow controlled depth and height pushups. Stay strong 💪

Royal Marine Commando push ups… the best I’ve come across - their “potential” recruit test is up to 60 to timed bleeps. Anyone seen the Commando doing 9 or 10 straight sets of Bring Sally Up as well …. Madness 😂😂
