The Social Deprivation Interest Group of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network (CPCRN) is pleased to present a 1-hr informational webinar on HDPulse, an online resource designed to provide researchers, public health professionals, policymakers, and students with high-quality, publicly available data and intervention materials to enhance their minority health and health disparities initiatives.
On December 9, 2022, CPCRN members convened virtually alongside guest speaker, Dr, Aaron Ogletree, who offered expert insights around "HDPulse: An Ecosystem of Health Disparities and Minority Health Resources." With Dr. Cici Bauer, CPCRN Social Deprivation Interest Group Chair, as moderator, Dr. Ogletree introduces and demonstrates how to utilize the resources, illustrating its utility through in-depth walkthroughs of its two, easy-to-use portals: 1) Data–provides population data with applications for calculating and mapping health disparities; and 2) Interventions–offers a repository of searchable evidence-based interventions with accompanying tools and materials.
