It's always great to get feedback. Do share, like, subscribe and comment on the video.

This project will be the sharing of a special experience in which we hope you will want to participate. Some of the musicians are established and famous, others are among the brilliant budding talent that adorns Pakistan’s musical scene.

Each of the mehfils has a distinct atmosphere and mood, but there is a common thread. We asked each of the musicians to stay close to their respective inherited musical traditions, allowing the singers an opportunity to present some pieces that are rarely heard today. We are inspired to present the brilliance of this contemporary Pakistani music to a wider audience and seek your financial assistance in making this possible.

Whenever he makes the transition to "...baaj gayo dankaa", it appeals to something very primal within me, like tapping into some deep historical consciousness I didn't realise was there.

I am so delighted that he chooses to sing this. I don't know why we Pakistanis tend to try and distance ourselves from our rich and glorious culture of the Indian sub-continent. This may well be a Hindu Bhajan but this music isn't Hindus or Muslim. This is our culture and what our ancestors have been contributing to for centuries and centuries. Masterfully done Ustad sb. More of this, please

It's a treat to hear his Soulful singing. Little surprising to find pure shastriya sangeet gayak from Pak. His initial words that "Ram-Sita ki kahani hai, uss jamane me to sb gaa lete the, koi masla nahi tha" hv many deep meanings for those who understand. Thnx a lot for all ur efforts to bring forward all these Pakistani jewels whose performances have found so many fans/subscribers like me here in India too. 🙏💐😊

Artists like Saami sahab spend a lifetime in riyaz so that people like me can put on their headphones and feel proud for absolutely no achievement of mine. What a maestro, thanks The Dream journey.

The way he says "pehle to sab gaaya karte the koi masla nahi tha" makes me think where this fight for religious identities has bring us, just dividing people and culture further. Still i appreciate how he still is trying to bring people together with music. Thanks to this great ustaad ji and also the team of dream journey, lets hope music can erase the borders and differences. Peace and love. May you all live long and prosper.

For. Few days. I was so attracted to the voice of Shri Ustad Saami Sahib. that. Just kept doing manana and manana on voice. As to what is so pulling in voice. KEPT ON AND ON AND ON. WAS NOT ABLE TO JUSTIFY IN PROPER WORDS. TODAY MORNING AFTER LISTENING. WORDS HAPPENED. THERE ARE SOME VOICES WHERE ELIMINATION OF TIME HAPPENS. INSTEAD OF TIME SPACE HAPPENS. WHEN SAAMI SAHIB SINGS SADRA. ITS STRAIGHT OUT OF BRAHMAND. SAAMI SAHIB. RIGHT NOW SHRI RAM JI HAS SENT US VERY FAR FROM YOU THERE ARE SEVEN SEAS BETWEEN US. BUT A DESIRE HAS HAPPENED. IN JEEV. TO MEET SHRI RAM. SO LET US SEE WHEN THIS GONA HAPPEN. WE BOW AT YOUR FEET MASTER. LOVE YOU.

Amazing. This is what the heritage of the subcontinent is all about. Raag, Lanka reference, Taal Jhaptaal and the reverence to the guru at the beginning. Wow !

Thank you dream journey. Ustadji is a very personal treasure for me. Kaan pakdkar unko sunne bhaittha hoon. For me he is God and I am a devotee. We have to make people believe that there were days that Ram praised Rahim and Rahim praised Ram. We have lost the ability to appreciate and enjoy the diversity of humanity.

Woww. This bhajan touches something so deep that I cannot describe in words. I love it when Sami Sahib explains the intricacies of our music to illiterates like me. I wonder how much of our subcontinental self we lost over time. We tried to find heroes elsewhere, when all we ever needed was right there in front of us all the time.
