I was really hopping that in some way I can tell the IDE wich DB objects I want to add to GIT and then it automatically does the work of mapping that objects to .sql or .pls files (or something like that), but nope, it seems that everything must be manually, so, whats the point of use the IDE tool?

Thanks for the inputs. Does it provide deployment and rollback scripts, does it resolve object depencies, does it support all objects in Oracle e.g. table, types, collections, queues, partitions etc. For the features you demonstrated we can use git directly, other than some convenience did not find any benefit. Thanks.
