Vifly R220 M2 FPV Racer Flight Test Review
Показать описание
The Vifly R220 models are durable quadcopters intended for those wishing to enter into FPV racing. For their RTF versions, everything is installed and ready to go out of the box, no programming or configuration needed. Vifly has updated their R220 FPV racer (now R220 M2) to include the following improvements over the previous basic R220 model.
1) F4 flight controller (faster processing speed than previous F3)
2) More powerful 2205 2600KV motors
3) Higher amperage Blheli-S 25A ESC
4) Better quality camera with 700TVL.
5) Improved "out of the boX" Betaflight PID Tuning.
The protective sandwiched design of this quadcopter makes this one tough drone. Intended for intermediate fliers wishing to experience FPV racing.
VIFLY is a technology startup who is dedicated in FPV racing drones. Their goal is to design and produce one racing drone that everybody can fly.
Pros
- Good stable flier, particularly in Angle mode. Should be a good entry level racer for intermediate fliers (NOT recommended for total beginners. This is not an appropriate learn to fly quadcopter.)
- Unique sandwich design available in yellow, red, white, or black. All flight components are encased and protected within rubbery side panels, and composite top and bottom plates. I didn't crash test it, but it sure feels and looks like it can easily withstand a crash.
- Swivel lens 700 TVL camera.
- 40 channel FPV transmitter, with LED display, and selectable power levels (25mW, 200mW, and 500 mW). Comes with RHCP antenna.
- On Screen Display (OSD)
- 25 A ESC's, and 2600 KV motors.
- 3S 1800mah battery (RTF model only. Can also use optional 4S as demonstratd in this video)
- Beeper with low power, and lost quadcopter alert beeping.
- Output video and power plug for optional DVR.
- Versatile camera platform can accommodate most if not all action cameras.
- RTF version comes with Flysky i6 transmitter
Cons
- Difficult to access the interior components. This is by design to protect these components. But advanced fliers who like to tinker with the innards might not like this ;-)
- Took a little work to setup and bind the Frsky BNF version. For Frsky BNF you'll need to set the transmitter to D16 Mode (Vifly, please include a slip of paper in the Frsky BNF box saying such), and you may also need to set the channel mapping (in Betaflight) from AETR to TAER.
