Tucker Carlson breaks silence after Fox News exit - BBC News

US TV host Tucker Carlson has broken his silence after his departure from Fox News in a video posted two days after his exit.

Without sharing a reason for his exit or his future plans, he commented on how “unbelievably stupid most of the debates you see on television are”.

Fox News has only said it and Carlson had agreed to "part ways”.

I think that’s the most reasonable I’ve ever heard him, bar him admitting his persona was an act but w.e. But HE is responsible for behaving in exactly the same way, focusing on nonsense while something actually important is happening. I think the idiom is worrying about the washing up whilst the house burns down.
