Saving Templates - Let's Talk LayOut

Are you using templates yet? See how you can put them to use saving dimension styles, and learn how to set properties for things you are going to draw in LayOut before you draw them. Doing so ensures that the same values will always apply to the tools and commands inside that template.

How about some more on creating and using our own custom Scrapbooks and using the Style eyedropper tool to quickly "pick up" various pre-defined styles applied to shapes and text and dimensions? Those pre-defined "styles" can then be applied to objects in the Layout doc or even used to preset those style attributes on the various Layout tools before using them.

the frustration I have is that you do not see your existing templates when you save your new or modified templete.. so end up with guessing template names on the fly.. eg my "new" template...my "new new template... etc etc.... rather than just update saving a template I already have...
