This damage control party actually seems quite balanced and interesting and if this is something for all soviet BBs I think this will be balanced... of course this WG will find another way to make it OP, just no OP consumables... probably... maybe... hopefully... one can dream

I like the ship having a different armor style. Gives some variety in how cruisers have to play against her.

So essentially what the Russian Designers of this ship proposed to the Tsar(as Gangut was designed before the Revolution) was
Designers: "Tsar, we have great Battleship, you see, WE PUT GUN EVERYWHERE.
Tsar Nikolai: "Where is superstructure, why is main mast so small? It looks like a battle barge than a battleship!..."
Designer: "Look Tsar, we have not eaten for days blyat, what do you expect us to make?..."
Tsar Nikolai: "...I did not say I didn't like it tho."

That revolution did happen in octover btw :P
Russia was still using (and still partially uses) the old style calendar (the julian calendar) so the date of the revolution was 25th, wich in the new style (gregorian calendar) translates to 7th of november.

What i like about the Nikolai is that the first 3 turrets can rotate though 180 degrees forward, meaning you can switch from angling one side to angling the other side of the ship if you need to avoid an obstacle, while still keeping 3 out of 4 turrets on the enemy. The second turret on this ship cant to that, which i think i will find a little annoying!

Very much surprised to see what they have done to that ship.
Limited amount of repairs does suck, but if you like charging forward and used to die quickly, this way of repairing is more for you.
More chance to survive, or survive an additional 2 minutes before going down will make a good difference.
Plus the MM **COULD** get fixed in a future version of the game. I wasn't interested in the ship, but your Video just sold her to me. Thanks.

you may have forgotten to mention that her sigma is 1.8 instead of 2.0 so her guns are not as accurate as nikolais'.

this kind of repair might be very useful at high tier bbs going in and brawl close and personal because usually you have one repair which is used on 2nd fire or flood and the rest of the fight you just have to take it. so in a push this might be awesome, in general running OUT of repair is scary as hell.

The revolution happened in Russia in October as it was using the Julian calendar, but it happened in the west in November because we were using the Gregorian calendar.

The Nikolai have the strong advantage of being T4, which means much better match making and not ever facing super CVs like Kaga :3
