Tony didn’t loose “control” he lost consciousness after his suit lost power since it wasn’t designed to be in deep space.

Ok 2 things.
1. Tony lost consciousness because of the lack of oxygen and the absolute cold, he didn’t “lose control”
2. The cartridges ejecting themselves was not Jarvis, since Jarvis had already lost connection. It was a programmed thing in the suit to release extra weight, because when the suit runs out of that accelerant, it now is dead weight, same as in Iron Man 2, when Tony used his laser cartridge and had to eject it afterward. It was however the correct amount of push in the opposite direction to save him, thankfully.

That was an automatic de-icing he likely built into the suit to engage whenever it loses power, just like in Iron Man 1

That wasnt Jarvis, Jarvis had no control of the suit when it powered off. The plates coming off was just an automatic design Iron Man had added
