Radiologist Antonio Westphalen, MD, head of abdominal imaging at the University of Washington in Seattle, presented the third in AnCan/UsToo webinar series, "Active Surveillance & Beyond." Westphalen entitled his program,"The value of mpMRI in monitoring men on active surveillance." He discussed how mpMRI is an important factor in diagnosing and surveilling prostate cancer in active surveillance. But he said other factors need to be taken into account, including PSA testing, digital rectal exams, and genomic testing, The webinar ran starting at 8 p.m. Eastern November 30, 2020 Moderators included Joe Gallo, Elliott Kerman, and Howard Wolinsky. The team included Jake Hannam, Rich Jackson, Ken Mason, and Peter Monaco. Introductions and closings by Rick Davis,

This is a fantastic and thorough presentation for prostate cancer patients to learn more about active surveillance and the use of MRI and biopsies.
