Missing Battery Icon - VISTA, 7 - Fix Tutorial - Power Icon Missing in Taskbar -How to

I had this problem with my Toshiba Satellite A505 Laptop with WINDOWS 7. I tried downloading a patch and it worked for 2 days and then the problem was back. I followed this tutorial video exactly how it was presented and it fixed my problem! This will work for WINDOWS 7 as well!

Thank you so much! This worked perfectly for me! I did have to go into Properties and check the Power box but it was no longer greyed out for me (like it was the the beginning of your video) and I was able to select it with no problem. Thank you again! :D

This works! if the power icon doesnt show up just right-click
the task bar click properties and check the power box.

Wow absolutely top marks MrJay it was driving me mad trying to get my power icon back so I followed your instructions and except for a small moment at the end where I wrote explore.exe instead of explorer.exe and had a minor melt down until I realised what I had done it worked perfectly.
