Honorable mention:
The struts in the hood can get worn. And the hood will start rubbing on the body when going over bumps. The whole front of the car will have an odd creak. I thought it was from my suspension. Super easy fix

I own a 2013 Luxury Package RWD. Bought it in 2016 with 30, 500 miles. Currently at 147, 000 miles. The older I've gotten, I've appreciated this car more and more. This is a car you keep forever and maintain it.

Bought my 2015 F-sport in 2018 with 16K miles. I now have 57K miles. Car still runs great. I did replace the sunroof seal in 2020 and that took care of the rattling noise when going over bumps. I love this car!

Own a 2013, can confirm it is one of the best used cars out there. It drives like brand new, the powertrain is still delivering like brand new and the reliability is perfect.
My uncle used to own a 2012 535i GT, he scrapped it due to reliability issue back in 2023 (he did all the maintenance work, but we live in South East Asia and it is too hot and humid for the European cars), and that really comes into comparison.

Love that intro. I bought my 2015 GS350 F Sport used for $23K with 82, 000 miles. Replaced the hood struts myself. Less than $50 and half an hour. I put Continental Extreme Contact Sport Plus tires on mine. I highly recommend these tires. Way better than stock. Car is 10 years old now and still looks and runs close to new. I added a Borla cat back exhaust and Takeda cold air intake. Sounds great. People actually pull up next to me at stoplights to complement the sound.

Those are all normal issues with pretty much any car. If that's the worst of it, the thing is pretty good.

Get the luxury or premium trim instead of F Sport. Still handles well but has square setup in the wheels and much cheaper brakes and the ride is smoother too. Luxury still has adaptable suspension so the lowest cost set up is the premium.
