*As a childhood friend of all three of the lads (Andy hadn't been born), I keep trying to get to the end of this interview without being in floods of tears. Not least because I know Barry was just 100% Barry throughout the whole interview. No ego, no heirs and graces. Just a mate whose **_"job"_** was to write and sing songs with his brothers. It's hard... I mean really hard, to see him surrounded by his big, beautiful family, yet at the same time, he feels like a man alone without Mo and Rob around. I know from personal experience, that the worst thing about getting older, isn't creaking bones, gaining a few extra pounds, or losing your hair. No. The worst thing (by far) is losing family members and lifetime friends who all played a part in making you the person you ultimately become. Sorry to be so downbeat, but that's just how I feel today. May your God bless you, whoever and wherever you are today x.*

What a kind and humble man, no ego with him. Doesn't consider himself the living legend we all know he is.

Hats off to the interviewer for her sensitivity. Barry was definitely having an emotional catharsis and she showed just the right amount of empathy. And to Mr. Gibb, you and your brothers will never be forgotten.

That has to be one of the toughest interviews he gave. Barry being the oldest, losing all 3 of his younger brothers. You can see the emotion.

It's painful enough to lose a sibling, but three brothers? No words can express the sadness.

The Bee Gees are one of those bands you really start to appreciate when you're getting older. Their natural gift for melodies and harmonies, their incredible work ethic, their instincs for trends when they mattered the most. Thank you for the great music!

A great man not afraid to cry, very tough, he was clearly devastated by the loss of his brothers. A truly compassionate interviewer

My cousin used to tutor Barry and Linda's kids at their home for years. He got to know the family, and even met his brothers before they passed. Most humble celebrities on the earth in my opinion. He still gets an Xmas card from them every year.

If this interview didn't touch you, You don't have a heart. Barry may be the last man standing, but his brothers still live on through him. They'll never be forgotten and I thank God for blessing us with their presence. I'll never get tired of listening to their music. The Bee Gees are timeless.

What do you think your greatest achievement is?

“My family, my children, my grandchildren, you know, because that’s real” ❤️

I totally understand.

Current celebs could learn alot from the humility and lack of ego. The music is timeless no need for swearing. A gentler, kinder period of time.

I’ve never in my life heard 3 brothers sing so beautifully like that.
Their harmonies are unmatched
Their voices were like Angels
The songs are unforgettable, and will last til the end of time.
Thank Mr. and Mrs.Gibb for sharing their sons with the world.
Rest peacefully Andy, Robin and Maurice.
Stay strong Barry, we all love you.

Its not only losing a member of the group. It's literally losing your brothers, it's like standing all alone in the face of the storm
