Absolutely! I was mixing/mastering at a high level when you were just a child. lol. But I kinda “retired” from that many years ago. Now, my issue is my little home studio and my monitoring not telling me the truth. I can still mix it—if I could HEAR it correctly. I hate to admit this, but Slate VSX has helped me immensely in my end result. I simply have to mix on phones because my room lies, and I can’t afford to treat it. Mostly what my studio world consists of now is tracks that I use in a solo act and some generally weak vanity projects for regional artists. BUT, I still strive to get the best sound that I can. As I said, I have been here a time. You are one of the select few I trust. Keep up the good work. God bless

Warm audio tonebeast straight into lindell 1176. Avantone cv-12...sound like 5 thousand dollars. Only spent about 1500. Black lion audio rev 2x2 utilizing black lion audio power. Conditioner. For me, I’m tired of the same plugins that emulates the same Analog gear over and over. How many 1176, SSL, Neve and Pultec emulations do we need? At least with hardware no two can ever sound exactly alike. I’m to analog and for the first time in a while, I feel and hear what I’m actually working on. All done in less time.

Well, you know and we know the gear is useless if you haven't the skills to make a good mix without it... but just like food, you can only get a dish so far via your skill until you need to up the quality of the ingredients... but, expensive ingredients isn't going to help someone that can't cook
