One of the man behind the music! I met him once & he was so sweet! So very talented & passed too young! Thanks Mike! Hope to see you in Detroit in Sept!

Mick was ahead of his time and his management didn't give him enough time to gel as a solo act. He was great, but he went out there so soon and was unfairly compared to Bowie when Mick was his own person. The same thing was done to Randy Meisner after he launched a solo career after leaving the Eagles. People kept comparing his solo act to his time in the band and found it coming up short even though he was great. Mick was great, but they wanted him to be another Bowie and he wasn't. He was talked into feeling like he was not good enough to be a solo act and he began to believe it himself. That's pretty messed up to me. He was a great talent and had tremendous stage presence with or without Bowie. - The opinion of a fan.
