I'd say that they're equal in strength i mean they're literally going hit for hit shadow has the upper hand with chaos control though although i have a question for the official versions in movie 3 would sonic cancel out chaos control since he's able to stop time in both movies or will chaos control just wreck him

I'm so excited about sonic 3 getting to watch this was awesome! Where it takes place it reminds me of Knuckles and Wade with their Bike in the knuckles series it would be cool to see shadow and sonic being friends at the end of sonic 3 and racing here it kinda would be like how you made it but now they are friends after their fight!
