I don't think I could agree with you more. I just got a new patio post outside my front door, so I had my teenage son help me mount and American flag. It gave me alot of time to talk to him about everything the flag stands for. I told him about how seeing the flag when I was overseas on deployment gave me a sense of indescribable pride. I told him about this video, and we watched it together. I really think he gets it. It was a good day, very little ptsd flashbacks and teaching my kid about patriotism.
