Yes it does. Also check out Vanguard GH-200T that comes with an Arca Swiss compatible quickshoe mount. Our newest model is GH-300T which comes with a shutter release trigger on the grip.

Love this pistol grip head!  I was so sad when the quarter turn locking mechanism on the 360 rotate fell off!  But my husband found the spring and  I peeled off the tape that covered the philips head screw on the thumb screw knob and figured out how to fix it!  YAY!  It's three years old and I use it all the time.  I just love it!

@signalsoldier
It tilts upwards 32 degrees and downwards 90 degrees. If you need it to tilt up higher, a little trick is to mount the camera on it reversed so that the grip is on the same side as the lens. A little unconventional but it works great.

How much weight will this take? I am looking for something for a Canon 50 with the Tamron 200-500. The Tammy is rented. Don't usually have it. Will have it on an upcoming tip to Yellowstone.

I just got mine, but it sucks that I can not use my Sigma 70-200mm lens collar (like the one they use on the video) because it doesn't fit with my Battery Grip Nikon D300

my model has another friction control screw and i´m realy unhappy with that. it doesnt lock completly even on the maximal position. and it doesnt make real difference if i press the pistolgrip or not, its always pretty loose. it stays in position but it gets looser and looser since i bought it a month ago and i dont even use it every day. is there any way to thight it up ?
