I’m not sure why it happened like this… God is definitely doing something behind the scenes…. But I had 2 major family members tell me at the same time that if I didn’t do what they wanted then I didn’t deserve their respect.
I have depression and I’m limited in what I can do and give to other people. I have 2 little kiddos and a husband and my goal is to please God and then to take care of them.
These family members wanted to be able to call me anytime and I was expected to answer…. And also wanted me to be very social with everyone in the family and I’m just not social like that anymore. :( it’s no diss to anyone else but social interactions wear me out.

So… when they both told me their way or the high way…. I said I love you but I gotta go. I’m choosing to follow where God leads me and I can’t live to please you people. I pray God blesses them every day. ❤

A life lesson I learned this year and I wished I had learned it years ago is my worthy, value, and identity is in Jesus Christ.

By seeking my worth, values, and identity from others (especially narcissists) brought me frustration, unhappiness, and pain. I am done with people pleasing. I am into God pleasing now.✝️❤️🙏🕊️
