What a great guest and representative of his club. And he is absolutely spot on; Jack did drag us over the line on many an occasion with his socks rolled down :)

From the game perspective I have nothing but absolute respect for any team's return to the Prem. I remember how hard it was for us AND how enormously difficult it was to stay. Literally every point counts as evidenced by our last game of the season against WH, of course a goal by Jack dragging us over the line one final time with a one point death-grip grab of the 17th spot.

We should expect Ipswich to go all out, toe-to-toe for every ball. As you both said, anything can happen when you apply yourself and our slow starts and lack of clean sheets is a real concern. We need to snap out of it as it only emboldens teams to come at us right from the kick off.

Really looking forward to the match, reliving old memories and reigniting our battle for points ~ UTV

When I was a very young lad Ipswich were our rivals and media darlings. I remember the likes of John Wark, Eric Gates, Russell Osman, Terry Butcher, Arnold Murhen etc… what a team that was! UTV

I think the gulf in quality of yesteryear between top and bottom of the league has somewhat dissipated to the point where anyone can win on their day so give full respect to Ipswich. They, like ourselves are part of the group not yet established teams that are plagued by PSR and more greatly effected by it, so with that in mind I hope they take a leaf out of our book and break the prem monopoly on teams, after our game obviously 😅 UTV

Bloom barely says anything positive about us and always plays us down. He'll claim its balance, but you can go too far the other way. Maybe that's a good thing, I don't know. It is annoying though. His description of us in the Championship last year did us a great disservice, again very annoying.

They bottled it in 81 and we all know what happened in 82. Alan Brazil was moaning on talk sport that we had a bigger squad but we only used 14 players in 81 😂😂😂
