I decided to perform an acoustic version of “Heaven Is A Place On Earth” for my new album Wilder Shores because lyrically it is and always
has been a song of hope. I’ve performed it in a very broken-down form in big yoga classes, and have had many people
coming up to me afterwards to say they didn’t realize the lyrics were so in keeping with yogic philosophy until they heard
it stripped of all its production.

It is kinda funny that it is about 2 years right now when I decided to buy the collection "A Place on Earth" after watching the music videos of "Heaven is a Place on Earth" and "Leave a Light on". It was a beginning for buying your music...the new versions of each seven albums and also two live albums (CD + DVD). I have never regretted it although I spent too much time in 2016 listening to Belinda's music. I guess about 300 days of 2016 I listened to at least one songs from her, usually much more. The collection was good but I needed have all those songs.

It is actually great to get a new version of this song because it was her first international hit and the first song I loved. This version is different but also very good in its own way. It makes a different kind of feeling. The original version sounds a song between a man and a woman wanting each others. OK, it was an 80's song but one of the best. I can still here it on the radio every day. It is not my favorite Belinda song but its very catchy and have happy and hopeful lyrics. It would be actually quite awesome to get new version of many songs Belinda has made in the 80's and 90's. "Runaway Horses" are my favorite album from her. It has many songs I love. I wonder how "Shades of Michelangelo", "Love Never Dies", "You're Nothing Without Me", ""La Luna", "I Get Weak", "Since You've Gone", "Here Comes My Baby", "A Woman and a Man", "A Prayer for Everyone", "Summer Rain", . and many more songs would sound today.

Time goes so quickly, still remember her singing with the go-go's in San Francisco in 1979, in a small hole in the wall club on broadway. Saw her again at the I-Beam in October 1980 right before they went big time. Great, that she is still alive and kicking.
