Been cutting my own mullet with scissors for a couple years. I got a hair razor for Christmas and used this video to give myself my best haircut yet. I watched a lot of videos but the way you section everything is the best.

Thanks so much for sharing your gift with me! I did this razor cut today on a client and she loved it! And I felt so comfortable and confident doing it! Your a very good teacher!

The best hair cut I had in my life was this type of cut. Unfortunately I had to move away from my person and it haunts me I’ve had yet to find someone to cut my hair as good as her. Your video is just like her cut. Exceptional work!!!

I'm 70 and still have long straight hair, all one length. it's been that way since my Hippie days! (Think late 60s and early 70s). It's gotten a little thinner and I need to color it now because I don't want gray. My ends at least 4 inches up need to go.. I've finally decided to take the plunge and go for a shag. I'm ready to sacrifice about 6 inches, maybe 8, maybe 10.. Seeing your video gives me inspiration. It looks like with the correct cut, I could have some wavy effect. I haven't had bangs in I know over 30 years. So I'm ready. In the beginning of your video you said you were a Redken salon. i moved to Iowa from the Atlanta area and my stylist there was also a Redken enthusiast, especially with color. His name was Roger and I'm sure you knew him! Thanks for your inspiration.

The angle of the razor is where I have trouble. Another Sam Villa video said to hold the razor at a 45 degree angle. How do I know which is correct?

I have a wolf cut but the layers aren’t looking “natural” and as connected as with this technique, I’ll try this one out it’s looking great especially since it still looks good air dried and natural curls/waves like that
