Thank you for this... Unfortunately for me I have to cut my hair down to the skin. A lot of the "natural product" shampoos that I was using contained SLS..( Sodium lauryl sulfate ) and I couldn't figure out why my hair was so brittle and damaged. Mind you I quit the creamy crack years ago and I have been natural for years ever since. And at that time all that I was using was hair grease and a spray bottle of water.... Yes that's old school I know... But that's how I was raised and my hair was thick strong and beautiful. So when the natural hair phenomenon took hold of the Black Community, I thought this was the way to go. So I gave it a try using products that came out and boy oh boy my hair paid the price. A lot of these products not only contain SLS but they also had coconut oil and soybean oil and with the combination of all three... My hair was dust in the wind😢😢😢... But there's still hope especially with that wig. I wouldn't wear my hair as long. My natural hair hair length was to my shoulders. So most likely I will cut the hair down to my shoulders and just smile waiting for my real hair to grow out to that length again.😍
