I love the fact that when the a380 is at rest, the weight of the engines pulls the wings down forming an arc. As soon as the plane approaches takeoff speeds the lift generated by the wings levels them out. Amazing!

The 747- My older siblings ( the 100, 200, 300 and SP)are the loudest
The 707 and DC-8- we are louder than you big boys with our older engines
Concorde - Y'all aren't even up to my level.

I was in a 747 and I was genuinely surprised by the acceleration for how huge it is lol

I loooove that buzzsaw sound from the engines of some planes. It's like a low hum "behind" the main sound of the engine. It's incredible!

I think you should all know by now that neither Airbus nor Boeing make airplane engines!
If any comparison should be made then it's between General Electric vs Pratt & Whitney vs Rolls-Royce!!

Beautiful shots of two of the finest passenger planes ever made. Inside the aircraft, as a passenger, the 380 is much quieter. For s plane the size of a seven story building, the 380 makes a very very silent take off. You will hardly feel it, unless you are watching it on the IFE Tv screen in front of you. Watching the 380 leave the ground is a pleasurable experience, whether you are inside or outside of it . It is also solid like a rock in the air. The 747 also looks terrific, no doubt. I got goosebumps at 1:45 and 4:25 as the two planes began take off roles.
