I think that Adam Nicolson who did this video did a wonderful job.

Many years ago a lecturer told my class that the best way to improve your English was to read the Bible, but he said it has to be the King James version of the Bible. No other version will do. For a number of years I did just that. It improved my English grammar as I learned to understand what it is saying. Just reading it and learning to understand it improves your English grammar.

Since then I have been learning Hebrew and Greek so I try to read it in the original languages. Those languages have improved my English grammar even more than the King James Bible. If you don't know English grammar very well then you can't learn Greek of Hebrew very well (particularly Greek).

I believe the Bible is the source of wise counsel. This is a unique book and should be read by everyone. It is like a message from the Father to children. This is a guide for life.
if people respected and applied, there would be fewer problems.

Love my King James Bible, even though I have various other translations. I am finding, it seems, that I tend to remember the scriptures in the KJV Bible more than I do the others. To me personally - it seems to somehow flow so poetically. Yes - I love my KJV Bible. 😌

What a wonderful writer and speaker.

Dennis Prager interviewed Adam on this subject in 2003. When Adam explained the Geneva Bible had the word "king" replaced with "tyrant", Dennis misheard it as "parent", and thought it was profound, but Adam never corrected him! :)

King James brought many scholars together to get the best translation possible and that they did. There is wisdom in the counsel of many. The King James and Geneva Bibles follow each other very closely.

The most read Bible. Other Bibles might sell more, but this is the one which the most people actually read.

Lost is the value of a STANDARD for the English Language. A one book which all read to unite our language which is so accustomed to drift.

So do I and our God has preserved His Words. He will use the foolish things of this world to confine the wise, so true. They are still attacking our God's words, what else would Satan do..I see why satan hates King James...

Very interesting in the beginning talking about how King James would love the early Bibles about basically worshiping himself therein lies one of the greatest sins
