In LA… 5pm is when the street taco stands set up… signaling the work day is soon to end, and the nightlife begins. Street tacos for life.

Street vendors are almost always going to give u the best Mexican food and usually you're helping out a family by buying

I live in San Bernardino, between 5-6pm the food vendors come out and if you’re looking for a lot of awesome Mexican food for not a lot of money, the trucks/ tents are the way to go. I’d much rather go to a street vendor than a sit down restaurant any day.

Fun fact about Mexican rotisserie meats. It was first introduced by Lebanese immigrants who immigrated to the west after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. The Lebanese immigrants brought Döner or Shawarma (a word that stems from the Turkish word çevirme which means the turning thing) to Mexico, since Pork wasn't eaten in Lebanon, Al Pastor meat used to be made using lamb, this is why it's called Al Pastor(shepherd style). Since many of these immigrants were Christian Lebanese, they eventually switched to pork as it was more readily available.

Technically speaking, all Mexican rotisserie style meats can be classified as a Kebab.

I'm a white woman and I grew up eating Mexican food! It's the best! My favorite dish is Carne Asada, with Chile Poblanos/Rellenos, refried beans, and rice. Pair that off with either a Margarita or Sangria!

I am sad that British people don’t have the Mexican food experience the U.S. has. It’s phenomenal!! I work for a Hispanic family and when they make chicken tamales they are literally fire! Soo good!! It’s is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Maybe y’all should find home cooks in the U.S. too. Especially different cultures because no matter what some people say America is a blended pot. Love your channel. Bring those Uni boys to the States!!!!
