Been logging for a good number of years, those logs would have been in the firewood pile, broker would not want them. I wish I had someone like you close by

BMP = Practical, real-world problem solving at its finest, with a 'let's have fun' attitude. Why I love the channel so much. :)

When you said ugly you meant ugly. On the other hand I've seen these guy's that work with the epoxies make some beautiful projects using the defects as accents. They have much better vision for what they can see in it than I ever would.

CC works as does the transcript. I enjoy your play-by-play as you saw. It helps me understand what you're doing and your comments are entertaining..

I’m 75 in Michigan. Why do I find sawing wood fascinating. I know, it’s because you men are real! Hard working, productive members of our great country. You have all the cares, infirmities, friendships that we so admire. Please continue and be safe. God Bless.

That second log had what we Brits call character. Your skill in cutting these beasts is second to none.

I sawed six or seven of those type of cherry logs a few years ago and left two live edges. Cut them 5/4 and made patio benches out of them. Sold like hot cakes. Cherry doesnt make real good outside furniture but used lots of water seal and gave instructions. I enjoyed the vid.

That last log was a real challenge.., but you did well in salvaging some of that tree.., plus you got some nice thick pieces, for fire wood on a cold winter's night!

Thank you for David Gordy's beautiful violin, guys. It really spins my wheels! And I miss ZZ - I hope the number plates he makes are nice ones - course they are, right? No rough edges, smooth.

The cut at 18.50 looks like owl eyes. I think that you like the challenge that the ugly logs gave you. You got some interesting boards. It looks like the log cried a couple of times. Good to see you.
