The US can grow food for over twice of its population & has a lot of Oil underground . Don't worry about the US !
China is making cheaper rechargeable batteries and EV cars to make the Earth greener and help the Poor / Developing
countries to obtain affordable energy sources . US manufacturers should make use of the “Inflation Reduction Act” to
produce goods locally for their own uses & try to improve cost / production efficiency at the same time .

I expect a bunch of useless talk that will amount to nothing of substance.

Rising oil means rising inflation. If Fed lowers rates, it’s like putting kerosene on a fire. $3T added to debt in a year. Sit with that. I think we are in deep trouble between our debt and inflation.

Furthermore, ask yourself what happens to GDP when deficit spending stops. Or so we just keep adding to debt at a rate of $1 T every 100 days?

Did you know annual interest debt service of $1.1 T, is greater than Defense spending?

Wonder why these talking heads never talk about this.

Big change coming people. Those paying attention see it. Gold is signaling trouble.

All the country that do well in chip manufacturing, are with Confucianism culture.
For chip manufacturing, a high level of discipline is the key, and most Americans today don't possess it.
They call it “forced labour"
Taiwanese media reported on August 2 that TSMC claimed the production holdup at its Arizona facility was caused by a shortage of trained American labour and that they had sent staff from Taiwan to assist with the factory's development. Labour union officials in Arizona, on the other hand, criticised TSMC for exploiting this as a justification to bring in "low-wage foreign labour."

Imagine US Economics Professors marching on the White House screaming "We want our jobs back, Free Trade is EVIL!"
Why? Their $60/hour lectures are now being delivered into their lecture halls - via live video links, by Phillipino Economics
Professors for $6/hour... Alas, that'll never happen - America's fat cats know know to look after one another!

😅U$Ass-A has left the CC conference room ..
29-3-2024, Biden’s $7.5 billion investment in EV charging has only produced 7 stations in two years.
After two years, that program has only delivered seven open charging stations with a total of 38 spots where drivers can charge their vehicles, according to a spokesperson for the Federal Highway Administration. (The funding should be enough to build up to 20, 000 charging spots or around 5, 000 stations, according to analysis from the EV policy analyst group Atlas Public Policy.)

China renewable energy towards a more sustainable future has contributed significantly to lowering costs and making green technology more accessible globally.
China renewable energy towards a more sustainable future has contributed significantly to lowering costs and making green technology more accessible globally.
What is Janet Yellen implying about excess capacity in contrast to what???
Economies of scale in term of lower cost helps demand grows over time.
Green energy generated from natural resources, such as sunlight using solar panels.
Wind turbines harnessing the power of the wind to generate electricity by converting kinetic energy into electrical energy.
Electric vehicle as an option for gas internal combustion engine.
EV’s battery that store energy.
Growth of technology platforms that have made it easier to find, use and pay for use of Excess Capacity.
Let the market decide what determines excess capacity.

Years ago, the United States promoted global emissions reductions. Now that China is developing green energy, the United States says that the cheapness of Chinese products has affected the working class. She seemed to have forgotten her commitment to the world.

With the people as well as a Hispanic community, see Janet yelling for the threat she is to our financial system. We see the level of corruption, and we must fight to stop them all.
