I like very much how you change the records behind you, without making "any interruption" in your speech. Great job Bobby's brother! Tack!

As a very old fan I think I've listened to virtually everything from following ABBA and its members. During the ABBA years I got interested in the earlier solo works and when they took their break in 1982 I carried on listening to the solo work and of course 'Chess', the musical extravagance and drive for the Andersson & ulvaeus partnership to continue. It was always fun when the guys took a respite from wearing their serious composer hats and worked with Gemini and Josefin Nilsson on their pop albums, and of course the BAO stuff, particularly with Helen and Tommy has been impressive to me if not the gerneral publics of the world at large. I'm also very fond of Hjalp Soakes musical as well. As an old fan im intrigued about the new ABBA music but, I never expected it so I have no idea what to expect almost 40 years on from the final ABBA recording (even though the new tracks were recorded in 2017 apparently they were mixed much later due to the technical hold ups with the ABBAtar project which, I think is the only logical reason these new songs have been recorded. I like the sound of the Hootenanny Singers as a vocal harmony group, The Hep Stars mainly exisits for me because of Benny's songs but fortunately Im one of those people who can appreciate Agnetha and Fridas voices in any language so the early solo stuff is accessable to me. There's an awful lot of exploring if you're an ABBA fan who wants to know it all.

I have listened to all their stuff (including all solo work) and been lucky enough to meet them all except Agnetha though she did send me a signed card. Been a fan since 1975 when I lived in Australia and they were HUGE there. Can’t wait for the new stuff. So excited!

Great video Bobby’s Brother. Such an under rated group who as time goes on are getting the respect they deserve. As you highlighted, the many different styles in their music, recording in Swedish, French, German, Spanish also, they are one of the talented groups ever. The enduring popularity of Abba is a testament to their timeless pop classics which stay relevant decades later, they’ve captured what makes the perfect pop song. The best band ever!

Hey Bobby's Brother, I like your side very much, you are absolutely right with your thoughts. I've been an ABBA fan since April 6, 1974, I saw them live, that was the best day of my life ... for me Kristina is the best musical, and Chess is also a masterpiece, I love Frida's "Djupa Andetag" and " Frida Ensam ", and Agnetha's early solo albums, and - for me as a German - also her German singles. And of course the ABBA-Albums. Every one is a Stroke of Genius in it's own. Carry on with your side, I'm looking forward to new things and wish you the very best. G

Yes! This is well said. Their progression is fascinating.

Djupa Andetag was brilliant.

I’d love it if sometime in the future you could do a video about Frida’s Djupa andetag album!! I’ve always loved this album and I’d love to learn more about it!

Loved buying all Agnetha's and Frida's solo albums, especially Frida Ensam and Elva Kvinnor I ett Hus. Both superb!

Thanks for so concisely providing all the work they have done before and after ABBA which will be sending me off for new adventures in the musical voyage they have had since the mid 1960's.

You've missed out Frida's best solo effort, the 1996 album Djupa Andetag, especially the song Aven En Blomma

There is so much out the pre and post ABBA. I never realised how much Benny has recorded over the years. I have most of Agnetha's solo works apart from the albums she recorded with her children. With Frida I am only missing the very early recordings from the late 60s/early 70s. And now with the new ABBA music, we have been blessed.

Frida is an Artist I love listening to on her ABBA leads and her solo Albums. Her Album Shine is awesome, and Somethings going on. All four of the ABBA members are fantastic. I love all of them but Frida is the one that hooks me in. I listen to her solo Albums at least every other week, if only she had have toured, she could have done her solo songs mixed with her ABBA songs. Frida is a Female Artist I class in my favourites along with Olivia Newton John and Linda Ronstadt all three totally different Female Artists.

Here in Scotland we use the word 'braw' to mean that something is good (or indeed it can also mean beautiful or handsome). Your video was braw as usual, and of course very interesting as always. I liked the way that the CDs/LPs on the table behind you changed between shots. Good work BB.

I can tell you that I found most of Agnetha and Frida's solo works to be forgettable. I have all the albums, and I can really only remember a handful of tunes. Frida's 'Something's Going On" quickly ran out of ideas, and her "Shine" album suffered from music in search of a melody. Some songs were gorgeous (Heart of the Country, Come To Me, Slowly, Don't Do It) while others were jarring and quickly skipped over, even with the record player! (Shine, Twist In The Dark). I was there for "Something's Going On", and I remember the newspapers saying that there really wasn't that much "going on" at all! Agnetha's releases are even more a disappointment. She should have had a couple more chart toppers considering her achievements with ABBA, but her albums quickly ended up in the delete bins, and neither had any radio singles that I remember, and I was listening for them!
