This is just a personal review of the Emax RS2205 Red Bottom motors. I am sorry I dont have the tools to actually provide some metrics, perhaps soon!

Yeah i already prefit them to check that. With 3mm arms the shortest bolts do touch the windings. So i went to a hware store and got some shorter bolts. Im just waiting on my new spf3 board and camera. Then ima go tune her up.

I see from your other vids that you like the dal props. Ive been runnin the same set of 5045 triblade dals for about 30 flights. Eatin branches left and right. The other day i hit a tree trunk @60mph and snapped an arm. Didnt break the prop though. Not as much thrust as the gemfan tris, but ultra tough. You might check em out.

What kind of flight time do you get using these motors with the 5x5x3 props and the same battery as outlined in your description? I heard somebody say they get about 2-3 min of non abusive flight with the same battery and props and esc.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these motors. Just a question.. I'm not sure if I missed it in your vid but did you have to balance the motors or did you fly them straight out of the box? Video looks pretty smooth.

were you running the 5050x3 props on 4s with 20a little bees? dont those props pull over 30 amps?? did the esc's come down cold as well?

I have 30a ESC 5040 tri props with these motors, running 3s, 35c. not much power with the 3s. Would the 4s with 45c make much difference.

Im building my first FPV drone and I'm using red bottoms as the motors. I have 30amp ESCs with a racing quad design. I CANT find a battery that has the right specs for under $100.

do you need to put different motors on at the front and back? there are CCW and CW versions or does it not matter?
