From what I understand, the XT-60 is limited to 8-10 Amps. You then need the XT-60i to get the full 15 Amps.

I do love these new generation Delta 2 Max. I own 2 of the first generation the delta max 2000 and they are beasts. What I love the most about the Delta 2 Max is the dual ports for solar charging. I could use my 2 160 watt panels and my 2, 220 watt bifacial panels to charge it. You are correct about fuel generators. Most people say it is a lot cheaper to buy gasoline but what they don't realize is that when the disaster strikes and the grid is down a million other people are in the same boat you are so finding fuel is key . Now having a small inverter generator is ideal especially if it is dual fuel. This way you only need to run it 2 or 3 hours just enough to charge your power bank. You save fuel this way and the power station can keep things running over night depending on your usage. Great video by the way.

Since the last hurricane I've added a Delta Max with expansion battery but also designed a 7.68kw system in the garage that has 1600w solar input. Going to hardwire one 20a outlet to the new breaker box. Inverter on 120v30a circuit.

I live in the deep south and after a hurricane we are out for a week. I have about 8kwh of batteries in different solar stations and it lasted for about 2 days running fridge, deep freezer, tv, internet and multiple fans. We didn’t have portable ac to cool us down and if we did that would have been 1 day of battery power. After the last hurricane that hit we decided for a gas generator for long term power.

I am not much of a power station guy, i have DIY solar power, 2000 watts panels and three 100ah LiFePo4 batteries. We lost grid power for a few days after hurricane passed us nearby in early July but i still had enough solar to run almost everything at home in Jamaica. Nice video.

Everyone get you a solar power station, I don't have this brand and mine came in handy last week when the remains of Debby came through western NC, We didn't have power for 4 hours which wasn't bad, mine is a 2000 watt hour rain my side by side fridge for 4 hours use 25% of the battery if had been out any longer was going to transfer everything to my 52 liter camping fridge

The Delta 2 Max is the best inbetween model that Ecoflo offers. These were all my "checks."

Price. (When on sale.) Battery type. Output power. Charging capacity. Charging time. Solar input. Expandable batteries. (2) Bluetooth control. Weight. (51lbs.)

Have been using it dailly for about a year and although it is in limited use, I can fully charge back usually in one sunny day. (200Wx2)

Highly recommended. Do your research and be honest of how much power you need and where the device is going to be stored and used.

I have a Delta 2 Max. It uses the center terminal on the XT60i to indicate it is okay to draw more than 8 amps. The default limit is 8 amps in order to accomodate a vehicle "d.c. outlet".

I don't remember, but I think connecting that center terminal to the negative indicates no current limit.

I recently received my Delta 2's. So far, they are doing well. I just hope they last longer than the Pecron E300 I won here. It toasted not long after I got it.

On the 'noise-test', if there was separation between the speaker and the Max, would the noise be less ...(I ask because sometimes 'close-proximity' could cause a false noise issue....)... Just a thought 🤔. Jim

What extension would you recommend if you have to connect it to the solar panels outside.

In a prolonged power outage if you don't have the max solar input to charge, these batteries are not good for running heavy draw appliances, A realistic test would be charging it completely off grid, and then decide if you're going to run the fridge and AC 😂.
