I heard an American respond to a Canadian showing a photo of a bald eagle he took in Canada. The American didn’t believe him and said the bald eagle is only in the US. The Canadian replied, “No, we have them in Canada too. They don’t know there’s a border! 😂🇨🇦”

Life expectancy is longer because of our health care system. Here in Australia, you don't have to die if you don't have private health care. The private and public systems work in tandem.

You have never tried to open a field gate being guarded by a mature red kangaroo - you won't, you will wait until he moves on because he will be 6'9" tall, weigh 250 pounds of pure muscle and pecs like you would not believe and he's mean enough to rip you from sternum to pelvis with a flick of his back legs, Nope, he's far more dangerous than your Bald Eagle and he won't back off because he can't go backwards.

USA spends 17% of GDP on healthcare yet it’s not universal.
Australia spends 10% of GDP on a Universal Health Care system.
You’ll find other countries with a universal health care systems are similar.
Private health care in the USA is profit driven and layered in administration fees and complex plans.
And in Australia, we do have a supplementary Private health care system, so far those that think we have no choice in Australia, that’s incorrect.
Americans assume they have the best of everything until they realise they don’t….

I had shoulder replacement surgery in 2022 and they discovered that I had a heart problem that needed surgery. I paid nothing for these surgeries. I don't think you can do that in the USA. Our health care system is part of the reason that we have a longer life expectations.
