Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu apologises to families whose hostages he couldn’t save

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he's apologised to the families of Hamas hostages who were killed in Gaza.

The Israeli prime minister says "It tears your heart out, I said to them that I'm sorry and I apologise that we didn't get them out."

He added "We worked so hard to get them, we were close but we didn't."
