Why can't Hollywood just make a horror movie that builds tension rather than throwing in cheap scares every 5 minutes. Hopefully they were just exaggerating the jump scare craze in this trailer to get a more mainstream appeal.

To anybody griping that this is a horror movie: one of the main-cast New Mutants is a native-american girl named Daniel Moonstar (who I am guessing is ALSO the native-american girl in the damn trailer). HER mutant power is the ability to make somebody's worst fear take physical form. So yeah, if a mutant whose super-power is LITERALLY "instant horror movie" is in your super-hero movie, IT WILL BE A DAMN HORROR MOVIE as well!

Might as well be complaining that Logan was too much like an action movie...

To be honest, this is how real mutants would look like, expect the guy to have claws and shoot fireballs out of his hands, and not get some gruesome imagery... this movie will be kinda disturbing but really good. Thumbs up if you are excited!
