LOUD! Opening a Pop (Soda) Can with a Sharpie

I would love someone to explain this to me*, but I didn't see anything obvious on YouTube yet!

Details:
-chilled (~5°C) "Great Value" Diet Cola
-regular black sharpie
-I am not exerting much more force than the natural weight of my hand / pen

I could only film at 60 fps, so the "slow mo" effect is minimal.

*Maybe this is really simple: the rubbing weakens the metal attachment of the 'tongue', and the air pressure inside the can causes the attachment to pop outward.

If you want to go further, Using tools like pliers and a razor knife, Carefully cut the tab off the can. Challenge your freinds to open it. If your freinds can't open it, You might be able to do this trick with a finger knuckle.
