Great advice as usual Kevin. I struggled with my rythym and timing. With patience and practice, I have become better and as for muscle memory, I shocked myself whilst practising, I was changing chords without even looking at my fingers, this is after 5 months of learning guitar. I feel this is an achievement in itself. As you so rightly stated, perfection before speed. Although I do speed up on certain songs, I feel I am not quite there yet, but I know I will get there. Your help and videos have been a valuable source of my progress thus far. Once again thank you for your dedication and effort you and your wife and Maggie May put into helping us older folks, or as I say, recycled teenagers to learn guitar...

Hi Kevin. “Practice a little every day.” Umm? I get it, but, for me, after 15 minutes of practice I don’t feel as if I’ve done anything, let alone achieved anything. I need to practice for at least an hour every day to make me feel that it was worthwhile. Furthermore, on most days, because I have the time, I can easily practice for 2 hours. So, Kevin, is it really that detrimental to my progress if I exceed 15 minutes a day? I’m all electric, no acoustic. Cheers and thanks.
