You know what I'm realizing? A lot of Oaths seem focused on specific enemy types. Ancients versus fey, Devotion versus undead and fiends, Watchers versus...most extraplanar beings... We're long overdue for a Dragonslayer, methinks.

Aura of Conquest reduces the enemy's movement speed to zero and Scornful Rebuke does your full Charisma modifier of damage. I feel like Conquest was very under rated.

Oath of Devotion really is one of those Oaths that's almost entirely campaign-dependent. If you're going to be fighting a lot of undead and/or fiends, it's crazy good.

It's quite interesting seeing the difference between yourself and the dungeon dudes + their community ranking. On their channel the Oath of Conquest was considered an S or A ranking, putting it just below Vengeance. Whilst you rank it as bottom of the pile. Just goes to show everyone has a different opinion on what is 'worst' with them putting the Oath of the Crown as worst.

The huge hate for Armor of Agathys and Oath of Conquest almost felt like a 15 days late April's fool

Just here to defend Armor of Agathys. The damage a creature takes when it hits you is NOT equivalent to the hit points remaining of the spell. It is listed and scales separately. So if you have 25 hit points and something deals 24 damage to you, the next creature that creature that hits you will also take 25 cold damage.

level 2 barbarian? Invincible Conqueror gives resistance to ALL damage, you get another extra atack, and double your critical chance, its the ultimate dream of every paladin

Aura of Conquest also has the part where it puts the frightened enemies movement to 0 so it can't run away. You keep missing parts of these abilities.

Aura of Devotion might not be great on paper, but it was a great moment at our table when we were in dire straits after a vampire charmed our Fighter and the Paladin says "oh, you're immune to that because you're in my aura, gg."

Oath of Redemption literally just get a better version of the Oath of The Crown's aura.

Crown: Use reaction to take damage instead of ally. Creature must be within 5 feet.

Redemption: Use reaction to take damage instead of ally. Creature must be within 10 feet, aura increases to 30 feet at level 18.
