Aachen still had lots of bullet holes in the 80s when I was there last. The first German city to fall to the allies, therefore heavily defended. There were still bombed out buildings in East Berlin in 1990 when I was there.

You can see the bullet pockmark it's still there all these 100 years later incredible it's the hole in the top of the slab that they're hiding behind it certainly looks like a bullet pockmark very cool
