Grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago. We made many day trips to the Michigan dunes. The midwest is a great place to grow up.

Apologies for commenting over and over as I watch. If you are flying over central Illinois, near Bloomington, you can land on the half mile grass airstrip of my old skydiving club- Illinois Valley Parachute Club. It just a little south of the tiny town of Minier, Il. We jokingly called it 'Minier International' and our runway runs east-west. Many good memories live there. I miss it every day. To fly is the single greatest thing in the world. Cheers
