Yes thank you I don't know if you were priest or what but thank you yes. To the Catholic church in the 1990s in America and she said they are only reminders like we have a reminder of Abraham Lincoln Mary said statues of the Saints and angels are reminders reflection of Heaven also I'm old school Catholic we never use the word symbol or symbolism we use reminders or represents the Catholic Church started to use the word symbols after they went liberal from the 1970s on but I'm old school Catholic we would never use that word it was for pagans the word symbol is a dead word it's not in my holy book not even in the footnotes Protestants love that word symbols and symbolism the reason why it's not in my Holy Bible is because there's nothing dead or symbolic about the word of God we don't use as traditional Bible Catholics the word symbol it's a dead word
